BLACK CROWES SELL OUT MARCH 20TH LOS ANGELES SHOW IN RECORD TIME

For the first time in their 18-year career, The Black Crowes have been on tour performing an album of theirs in its entirety. The special run of seven “One Night Only” shows features their new critically acclaimed album “Warpaint” performed live as well as songs from their extensive catalog and surprise covers. Tickets for each of the exclusive shows sold out within minutes, with some of the venues reporting record times.

phones have been ringing non-stop ever since,” said Greg Siegel, Vice President
of Booking, LA office of Live Nation. “Following the instant sell out, we
approached the band to inquire about moving the show to The Wiltern to
accommodate the overwhelming demand. We are pleased that the band
have agreed to move to a larger venue for this very special
concert."

The new album, “Warpaint,” has also received critical acclaim.
David Fricke wrote in this month’s ROLLING STONE feature on The
Black Crowes, “(Warpaint) Eleven tracks of brawny Southern rock and psychedelic
R&B ecstasy…” and Alan Light from ROLLING STONE reviewed,
"...some of the best range and craft of the band's career."
Anthony DeCurtis wrote in a recent issue of RELIX magazine that “Warpaint” is “The group’s most confident and instantly appealing album since the raw, raucous “Shake Your Money Maker” first brought the group national attention in 1990.”
“Warpaint” is the band’s
first album of all new studio material in seven years. The collection also
marks the recording debut of two new band members – guitarist Luther Dickinson
and keyboardist Adam MacDougall – who join Chris Robinson, Rich Robinson, Steve
Gorman and Sven Pipien.
